Hagaberg strengthens its presence in Denmark and Norway and proudly presents the recruitment of Michael Barslund. With an inspiring lifelong technical interest and a background in technical sales, he takes on the role of Area Sales Manager.

Michael Barslund has extensive experience in sales of forklift trucks, and hydraulic and mechanical components. Mechanical knowledge, technical interest, and a teaching role led to technical sales where he found his passion for understanding technical details and building strong business relationships.

He believes in the company’s vision to further strengthen its presence in the Nordic countries and is ready for the growth journey. He emphasizes Hagaberg’s priority of the highest quality and functionality in its fork positioners as one of the main reasons he sees the strong potential. It gladens us that he also highlights encountering a personal atmosphere and strong internal relationships. “This is particularly valuable for me as I often work remotely from HQ. Having a close connection to the team,” he concludes.

Hagaberg was exhibiting at LogiMAT in Stuttgart, Germany – Europe’s largest trade fair for logistics and material handling. At our stand, visitors could discover an innovative solution for hydraulic fork positioners and other types of attachments, developed through our partnership with OilQuick®.

At the heart of our presentation was OQT, an advanced quick coupler system for forklift trucks, available in various models suitable for machines ranging from 1 to 9 tons. With lightning-fast hydraulic and mechanical attachment changes, including fork positioners, paper roll clamps, and rotators, OQT ensures that you are always equipped for the task, while reducing the risks of injuries associated with manual changes.

The OQT system will not only make your forklift truck but also your company more flexible, competitive, and cost effective.

Hagaberg will be part of this year’s edition of LogiMat in Stuttgart, Germany, the premier annual trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management in Europe. During three exciting days, you’ll find us in our 30 sqm booth, ready to discuss and showcase innovative solutions that redefine the rules for material handling with fork positioners.

New solution for indoor and outdoor forklifts

We look forward to welcoming you at the fair and, in addition to showcasing our strong range of fork positioners, presenting a major innovation for indoor and outdoor forklifts. A system solution that helps reduce environmental impact, increase efficiency, and flexibility in your customers’ forklift fleets while also reducing the risk of personal injuries.

It has been an eventful year at Hagaberg and the calendar for the upcoming 40th anniversary year 2024 is filed with activities. We want to celebrate this event with customers, partners and suppliers at the HQ in Askersund. We are also expanding our visibility on the European market by exhibiting at LogiMAT in Germany March 19-21. We hope to see you there too!

On Friday December 2, production and customer services will close at 12:00 and reopen on Tuesday January 2 at 08:00.

The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund & WWF

Thanks to research and more effective treatment methods, progress has been made, but the main goal is that all children who are diagnosed with cancer should survive and live a long and healthy life. To achieve this, we are supporting the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund by being a Child Supporter 2024.

WWF works with several projects to ensure that nature is used in a way that benefits animals, plants and people. In 2024, Hagaberg supports WWF in its mission to preserve species, nature and ecosystems.

December is here with a sparkling, white cover of snow – or almost… We’re looking forward to a winter landscape of snow and sunshine outside and decorations that create a warm Christmas atmosphere of inside.

Opening hours during the Holidays

A short but festive time of the year is approaching with Christmas and New Year and soon it’s time to enjoy some well-deserved days of rest. During the Holidays our production and customer service will be closed from Friday 22 December at 12:00 until Tuesday 2 January at 08:00.
