Another substantial issue that is hard to summarize in just a few lines – but here’s our best attempt!

A growing trend is that more trucks are now coming straight from the factory with the ability to control three hydraulic functions directly. At Hagaberg, we’re keeping pace by offering solenoid valves and 6-hose solutions. In this issue of Position, we showcase how we customize our attachments to match the features of different trucks – don’t miss it!

We also introduce our latest partner, Tesmatic, a developer of user-friendly and high-performing weighing technology for the industrial and logistics sectors. The systems are easy to install on the truck, enabling drivers to weigh loads with precision as part of the material handling process.

Additionally, you can read about one of our most experienced welders, Anders Stjernström, and our newest star, Roy Öhlin, who has joined the design department. We also share the latest updates on spare parts – summarized as: increased capacity!

We are now changing our legal company name

As of 2024-10-23, Hagabergs Mekaniska AB have changed legal company name and we are now called Hagaberg Industrier AB.

The reason for the change was to bring our company name closer to our brand name and thereby simplify all types of communication. We would like to ask you to change our company name in your systems as soon as possible. There are no other changes made.

Hagaberg had the honor of being one of the exhibitors at VETTER, celebrating an impressive 135 years in business and 60 years of dedicated commitment to fork development.

The day in Burbach, Germany…

…was filled with inspiring lectures, valuable meetings, and a dynamic exhibition, all under the umbrella of safe and efficient material handling. Exciting product demonstrations, with VETTER’s SmartFork® leading the way, consistently impresses with intelligent programs and solutions.

At the Hagaberg exhibition stand, we were delighted to host lively networking around our innovative C-series positioner and our relatively newly launched attention-grabber – the OQT automatic quick coupler system for forklift trucks.

Preparing for further growth – Roy Öhlin joins as Design Engineer

We are thrilled to expand the capacity of our design department and maintain an ideal balance between engineering and Research/Development. Roy’s entry as Design Engineer will aid us in continuing to develop innovative and complex solutions matching the rate of the company’s growth and expanding product range. This is particularly important considering our ongoing partnerships, such as OilQuick® and Cebriá, and the expanding range of applications our products support.

With a solid background as a project engineer in construction and extensive experience working closely on customer-specific adaptations, Roy checks all the boxes to become a valuable asset in his new role at Hagaberg.

In 2024, Hagaberg celebrates 40 years, and the customer magazine comes in the form of an anniversary edition!

To help us journey down memory lane, we had the honor of a visit from Hagaberg’s founder and former owner, Krister Grankvist. In an interview, he shares insights from the company’s early years.
