The summer is arriving and hopefully it’s here to stay! This means that vacations are approaching and with a bit of luck we will all get to enjoy some days in the sun.

With summer there also follows a short period of deviating times in our production schedule as well as for deliveries of spare parts.

• Production is closed between July 12 until August 6 (w. 28-31).

• Spare parts are sent twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays.

Customer service

• Our customer service is open as usual throughout the summer.

Some short news!

Our new factory in Askersund is starting to take shape and based on the current progress we will be able to carry out our successive move during the fourth quarter as planned.

The new C-series has been delivered to a number of customers and the final production adjustments are in progress. In mid-September, we expect it to go into full production.

Hagaberg launches a new generation of fork positioners with self-lubricating bushings for counterbalance trucks, reach trucks and telescopic handlers. The advantages are; increased performance, less environmental impact and an even better visibility. The product range in the new C-Series is suitable for machines with a lifting capacity from 1 to 10 tons.

The C-series from Hagaberg is a new generation of fork positioners based on the unique C-pipe profile. With a new design and new materials, we have improved the visibility further and increased the performance of the attachments. This contributes to increased safety at the workplace, a more efficient material handling and reduced maintenance. In addition, the lower weight results in better residual capacity and less environmental impact.

The attachments come in three different series; The C-Series for counterbalance trucks and telescopic handlers and the CR-Series for reach trucks. In addition, there is the COC series with over-center function, specially developed for loading/ unloading at terminals and in warehouses. The products range from a lifting capacity of 1 to 10 tons with load center of 500, 600, 900 and 1100 mm.

Hagabergs has changed telephone numbers and has a new switchboard number, as well as direct numbers to our departments and all our employees. The reason for the change is that we have started to prepare for our move to Askersund.

Hagaberg has recently launched its website in both Finnish and Polish. Finland is an important market for Hagaberg and to improve the market presence with a Finnish website is a natural step in the development. On the website you can also find product sheets in Finnish.

Poland is a new market for Hagaberg and a website in Polish is an important part of the marketing package. In addition to the website, there are also product sheets in the local language that can be downloaded directly.

Let us introduce our new coworker, Lotta Skönvall. Lotta started her position in the beginning of September. She will be one of the voices at our customer service department, but also deal with purchase.

Lotta most recently came from Green Cargo in Hallsberg, where she has worked as Customer Coordinator since 2007. Lotta is born and raised close to Askersund. She has a upper secondary diploma specialized in business and administration from the Kumla Gymnasium.

What made you accept the position?

-I have worked at Green Cargo since 2007 and wanted new challenges. I believe that my new role at Hagaberg gives me opportunities to evolve in new areas.

During the summer, Customer Service and the Order/Spare Parts departments will be opened as usual Monday to Friday.
