KOOI® Reachforks are forks with integrated hydraulics. Through the hydraulics in the forks, an extension of the fork is extended thereby providing a longer reach, all with increased efficiency and safety. The integration eliminates the risk of personal injuries which can occur when detachable extensions need to be mounted or removed. The telescopic forks also allow for safe and fast handling of a large number of different pallet sizes, with reduced risk of damage to goods or packaging. They are available for all sizes of trucks, both for indoor and outdoor use.
This innovative fork solution can also reduce internal transport costs by up to 50%, by carrying double loads with each transport occasion. Common applications include loading/unloading of trucks or similar from only one side, saving both time, energy, and fuel.
Hagaberg offers KOOI® Reachforks integrated in fork positioners as well as hook-on forks with ISO or TWS hooks. For reach trucks and forklift trucks up to 3.5 tons, we recommend the RG2 model (2 cylinders) with a narrower cross-section, faster extension/retraction, and which is more energy efficient. But we also provide the RG4 (4 cylinders) as an alternative throughout the whole capacity range.
Options
The forks can be equipped with pallet stops, which prevent them from protruding too far through pallets and, for example, damaging subsequent layers of goods. Another solution with the same function is the KOOI® Reachcontrol, which allows electronic auto-stops to be programmed at different lengths. There is also then possibility to integrate a camera in the fork, providing better visibility when handling goods at heights.
