When handling e.g. paper, wooden boards or sheet metal, and other goods without packaging, or sensitive packaging, there is a risk of damage caused by the inner heel radius of the fork.

On the Swan-neck fork, the heel has been moved back. This eliminates the risk of damage due to the inner heel radius. In addition, this means that the nominal length of the entire fork can be utilized, which in turn results in an increase in both safety and efficiency.

The fact that the entire length of the fork blade can be utilized removes the risk of protruding loads, the impact on the load centre of the fork, and thus the residual capacity. This is especially evident in comparison with forks using conventional end stops. Loading and unloading of goods is therefore fast, smooth, and efficient.
