In case of low or lack of packaging
Features
- Long taper
- Thin fork blade
- Thin fork tip
Fully-tapered forks are especially useful in applications that involve transport carriers with low entry heights, special transport carriers or when no transport carrier is used at all (examples include the timber, furniture, paper, and wood industries).
Characteristics of these forks are long tapering, a very thin fork blade, and a fork tip that is only a few millimeters thick. Therefore, their capacity is lower compared to forks with a standard cone. As a result, these forks are often much wider, or alternatively made of a special steel and extra hardening to be able to keep the width down.
