The engineering and production of Folding forks set the highest demands and obtain absolute accuracy. The heel area of the fork is generally the section that receives the greatest load. In foldable forks, the heel area consists of a pin suspension instead of solid material, which requires each component must be designed for the highest quality and safety.
For example, rotating pin bolts are used in the suspension to avoid contact corrosion, hardened pin bolts made of special materials, and hinge plates that are optimized to minimize fatigue.
