Hagabergs and Bodins in merger

The two sister companies Hagabergs Mekaniska and O. Bodins Maskin is in the process of merging. Both companies manufacture fork positioners and will continue as Hagabergs Mekaniska offering its products under the brand name Hagaberg. The company will move to new premises in Askersund municipality during the second part of the year.

Major changes in the sister companies Hagabergs Mekaniska AB and O. Bodins Maskin AB will take place in 2021. A merger is in process and is expected to be completed during the first quarter of the year. The companies that manufacture similar product ranges will continue as Hagabergs Mekaniska and will market the products under the brand name Hagaberg.

-The merger will give us opportunities to achieve better resource utilization and higher efficiency in the production, says Stefan Carlsson Pautt, Business Development Manager.

The new head office and production facility in Askersund municipality will be ready after summer and the company will move gradually during the autumn.

-The merge will allow us to increase the capacity to design customized solutions as well as speed up the pace of innovation. In addition, a larger joint organization will also provide a higher service level for our customers, Stefan concludes.
